The new MaxRack powered elevating handrail system is the only elevating safety cage on the market that can be raised and lowed manually if your facility loses power or plant air. The unique counterbalanced cage design coupled with our exclusive dual input gearbox enables smooth operation as well as the ability for the operator to manually raise and lower the cage with ease in the event of a power loss.
Two Power Options Available
The MAXRack Elevating Safety Cage features two power options:
- Pneumatic drive
- Electric Drive; Single and 3-Phase (explosion and non-explosion proof electric motors).
Our counterbalanced cage design also allows for smaller, less expensive “off the shelf” drive components which minimizes downtime when replacing a worn component.
Multiple hatch standard and custom fall protection cage configurations
Available for both truck and railcar applications. Cage sizes range from 15’ to 33’ in length and 4’ to 10’ in width to address your most demanding or difficult applications.
Safe, durable and easy to use. MAXRack is built rock-solid with galvanized steel column supports and lifting arms (cages can be Aluminum, Carbon Steel, or Stainless Steel depending on application)
Our welding specs meet or exceed AWS D1.1 for carbon steel / AWS D1.2 for aluminum, and our galvanizing process adheres to the industrial ASTM.123 standard.
